TETRAHYMENA!

Note the `movement` in these Tetrahymena clips ? it reminds me of the Fairground Dodgems and the Pyriform shape is `Hedgehog` like with a snout type proboscis.

Conjugation is also shown in the clip where the Ciliates join together to exchange nuclear material and replicate.

Are Tetrahymena a parasite? I have not heard of them.
