We managed 20.5C for a few days with the heat pump on. For the last few days it has only been on during the night and a few hours in the afternoon. When its sunny, we use the free energy from the panels to run the heat pump. Temps now hover between 18.5C and 20C.

Had a Power Outage this morning which `challenged` my `Positive` approach to `crises` somewhat Exclamation

Water was `stagnating`, with all Koi on the bottom which I refused to `freak-out` about whilst awaiting the power supply to return ?

Immediately, pumping the stale water out , whilst replacing it via a `Fresh Water` Spray over 4 hrs continually revived the Babes within an hour .. to the extent that they were ravishing the `Takazumi` pellet food as if `NOTHING` INCONSEQUENTIAL had occurred Very Happy Great stuff, the `RELIEF` was wonderful ... Very Happy

Mio great weather here too. Ambient temps a little cooler here 20 degs C. however pond has crept up to 21.8 degc with the help of free energy from the solar panels. Also a lot more sun on the pond since chopping down the weeping silver birch and removing the bridge. On the first day of good weather, upped the pond by 3 Deg C. The next 3 days forcast is the same.

Pond temp is reaching 22 deg C with the help of heatpump . No gas boiler needed in this weather. Ambient temps forcast here 23degsC but sadly down to 13 degs tomorrow. How can it get so cold at the end of may?

Yes Mio lets hope so, or if not it soon warms up. Chilling out now that koi are looking fantastic and I have treated the pond with CLBA without to much bother. This has reduced my p.H swing down to 0.3. So very happy at the moment.Still maintaining p.H above 7 without bicarb, just load and loads of air . Happy Koi too
