New Toy for xmas

Post by DaveB on Wed Dec 14, 2011 10:16 pm

Hi guys Xmas has come early for me as I have a new toy to play with. A heart monitor. Great piece of kit which I got half price in a sale.I can monitor my heart now that I am exercising again and I can keep it within my exersize zone and not to go above 110 which was set by my cardio physiotherapest. So I am up to 1 hour a day walking with 15 min above 90 and below 108. So far so good, but still having problems with my back. So having to spend less time on th computer.

Mio Although I can see the benifits of one No treadmill for me. See no point when I have a dog and rambling is a hobby of mine. Just hope I can do some more mountains. I did 4 last year but ubfortunately I had to cancel Snowdon but enjoyed the train journey as we were lucky enough to get good views

Wireless thermostat for new house boiler. I have been playing with this for a few days. Great piece of kit . It would be nice to have one for the pond too. Will keep my eye open for one. Although don,t know if I can afford one as the microwave has threw it hand in. Just when I thought I would give my wallet a rest. No such luck

No rest for any `Wallets` yet Sweetie .... Mercury is still in the shadow phase until Jan ....

If you must buy a new Microwave quickly Dave try to ensure it costs less than $200 affraid

I was going to buy an LCD TV for the spare room but will wait until January Sales in the circumstances Wink

Take a look at this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CONRAD-WIRELESS-SWIMMING-POOL-POND-WATER-THERMOMETER-NEW-/170726258080?pt=UK_Swimming_Pools_Hot_Tubs&hash=item27c013f5a0

and let me know what you think. I know it don,t actually control the boiler as I already have a thermotat for that which has an accuracy of 0.1 deg. But this would be nice for checking the temperature of the pond without going outside.

I can`t find any reviews for it Dave but it does resemble the `Velda` version which costs triple the price Shocked

It`s the same price with p&p Dave and I don`t think they take PayPal when not buying from their Ebay shop ....

PayPal is the safest method of payment imo ... they refund in a heartbeat .. Very Happy
