50 amps should be fine provided you are not running a 10 kw heater (43A) and all your other pond equipment on the same breaker which would be cutting it fine. The heat pump is definately the way to go rather than huge electric heaters

The Heat Pump I will look into Dave Very Happy

I have not been running more than a 3KWT Elecro on the Koi Vat due to it`s meager 940 gallons ... but will need more efficient heating for the New Pond when it is built Very Happy

I have had my heart set on an Attori Onishi Streamflow System since contributing to the Koiphen Thread Dave Arrow http://mio-chichi.forumotion.co.uk/t102-new-koi-pond-building-business

Unsure of the gallonage yet due to lack of space ... but 14ftX7ftX6ft sloping probably ... Half width to length etc are the specs for these type Ponds ... Very Happy
